Parc Zoologique de Thoiry & Parc Asterix!

We spent our last day in Paris visiting the Parc Zoologique de Thoiry in the morning and the Parc Asterix in the afternoon. At the Parc Zoologique de Thoiry we visited the zoo and park to observe the life and habitats of animals roaming free in the African, North American, and South American resorts. In our lesson today we learned about endangered species and how they become endangered. The students really liked learning about a universal topic that effects all countries around the world.

This afternoon we visited the Parc Asterix which is a theme park that is based on four cultures: Gaul, The Roman Empire, Greece, and the Vikings. The class learned about these cultures and enjoy our last night in Paris riding rides and seeing a dolphin show. Everyone was able to find something they enjoyed doing whether it was watching a show or riding rides. Our last night in Paris was definitely a memorable one!

We really enjoyed our visit to Paris, but are happy to be reunited our families tomorrow. We will be up and out early to make it to the airport in plenty of time for our 1:30pm flight back to the United States. Our flight will land in Philadelphia at 4:10pm and should see you all back in Elizabethtown by 6:30. Look forward to seeing you soon!
